Google Pixel 10a tipped for February launch with lower price

The Google Pixel 10a is quickly shaping up to be one of the most talked about midrange phones right now. Over the past few days, leaks have come in fast first revealing its color options and a general release window, followed shortly by what appeared to be an official product image.

Now, a fresh rumor may have filled in the biggest missing pieces – price and an exact launch date.

According to a tipster on X, Google is preparing to unveil the Pixel 10a on February 17, and if the leaked pricing holds up, the phone could be surprisingly more affordable than its predecessor. The 128GB model is said to cost €500, while the 256GB variant could land at €600 in the Eurozone. Matching official Google cases are also rumored, priced at €20 each.

What really stands out here is the price drop. Last year’s Pixel 9a reportedly launched at €550, meaning Google may be cutting the entry price by €50 this time around. If accurate, that would be a significant move in a market where phone prices rarely trend downward and it could make the Pixel 10a a very compelling option in the midrange segment.

There’s another interesting detail hiding in the leak: storage and color availability. The 128GB Pixel 10a is rumored to come in all four previously leaked colors –
Obsidian, Berry, Lavender, and Fog.

Possible Specs

  • 6.28-inch AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
  • 48MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide,13MP selfie camera
  • 8GB RAM,
  • 5,100 mAh battery
  • Tensor G4 or G5 (slightly underclocked)

However, the 256GB version is apparently limited to Obsidian only. It’s an unusual choice, especially for buyers willing to pay more for extra storage, but Google has made similarly absurd decisions in the past.
